As some of you know, I make most of my own clothes. Given this, I suspect this is what draws me to fashion images like Erte, a fabulous French designer up to1990. Since he's Russian/French, I thought it appropriate to use French script.
The fibers I used came from some silk dupioni fabric I used to make bedrdoom draperies. While cutting the fabric, what a great surprise to discover I had oodles of this very cool thread fiber.

Though at one time I made all my clothes (except my jeans) that was quite a while ago. My machine comes out to fix rips and that is about it. I admire your flair with the card making! Those fashionable lady stamps always catch my eye but I am at a loss as to what to do with them. Your card is lovely. TFS

Oh, Anne, this is gorgeous! And wow, silk dupioni! I have a piece that a friend recently gave me - it's gorgeous! This is so your style with elegance and beauty, sweet friend! I love the gold and the French script! Perfect sketch card for this week! I love it! (And I used to make all my own clothes years ago but no longer do! I so admire you for that - it's particularly hard to find wonderful fabric these days!) Hugs!

I love how talented you are and especially enjoy seeing your fashion images, Anne. This is classic beauty, and I just bought that lacy oval die, but have yet to use it just gorgeous.
