The challenge today is to make any card, but share if we are a Tortoise or a Hare. I think it depends on what I am making. If I am doing a detailed card scene of dies it can take me a couple of hours by the time I pick my colours, decide on layout and do the die cutting, colouring if needed, styling and gluing. If I am colouring a stamped image, it can also take some time. Alas, this card did not take any time at all, some 15 to 20 minutes. I sponged the reds on the embossing folder and spritzed with glimmer mist. Stamped on the silhouette, added the grass border which I had sponged lightly with the spun sugar, and the butterflies to finish. Thanks for looking ...
Tools: Tim Holtz Brick Wall EF; Joy Crafts Silhouette Stamp; Impression Obsession Small Grass; Memory Box Butterfly Delights.
**edit - I forgot my tips - I have my card bases already cut and stocked in the 3 sizes I use. I cut my scraps at night while watching tv into the tiny butterflies, birds, flowers etc. and store them in a stacking container. I store my dies in envelopes filed by what they are in alpha order i.e. birds, bees, flower heads, flowers on stems, and on and on. My spellbinders are in artbins, a bin for each, i.e. circles, squares etc. Just little things that make it a quicker process.
