The F4A Challenge was to have a lot of black(or VERY dark color) on our card. My piece of black bg CS had lots thrown at it: Brushos(not too successful), acrylic spray(the dark "splash" you see), bleach(I was running out of ideas). I didn't want the card to become too funereal so I did surround the image panel with white.
I did twist the MIX112 challenge a bit to be the "first night of the first day of spring" The flowers and framing are bright spring colors and goodness knows, I used enough on this card to meet the mixed media part of the challenge. : )
Lee Ann is the Queen today and I was inspired by this card although much on mine is changed.

This is a work of art, Sallie! I love your background, especially the "bleach because you were running out of ideas" part! Whatever you throw together always seems to come out beautifully, and this is no exception. Great job combining challenges, and thanks so much for casing a card from my gallery! I am humbled.
