I love the simplicity of our sketch challenge this week(SC524). I made this card using a technique that Jennifer McGuire demonstrates here called faux laser cutting: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/20...cut-cards.html
It's really quite simple to do - I decided to have my flower branch cover just a section of my heart and I cut it twice - once in white, once w/the dsp - so I could cut out the blossoms and put them on the white branch. Really a fun technique and I could see turning this card into an anniversary or wedding car,d too. Linking to CAS308 because another of my goals is to use more of the dsp that I love, love, love, but seem to hoard more than use.

Your faux laser technique turned out so pretty! Love the soft pinks you used.
And I wouldn't worry about your thumbnail photo being fuzzy--your actual card is crystal clear!

This is so pretty, Maura. Love the pink and white and your flowered branch is lovely inside your die-cut heart. A perfect Valentine. As you said, very versatile and would fit other occasions as well.
