This is for 2 challenges today. the first was the color challenge, with these pretty colors I had to join in the fun....and I felt snackish for dessert so I added Pearls in the corners of the little hole punches, well was going to put them there anyways to add a bit of blingage, but who can resist dessert...lol.
I was having trouble with the water coloring on this paper so went and pulled out my old pencil crayons that I had to blow dust off of. I used a light pink first then a darker pink then went over it with the red to try and make it the color for today's challenge. I did not have a mossy color so it is called ceder for the leaves. The sponging on the edge was a light blue, then a dk blue then a touch of moss over that to try and recreate the old olive color.. I was going to put a verse along the side for WHA OK, but had none to fit there so puot the little one from god's beauty under it and added the bit ofdesign to fill the space, and just embossed along the side...like how that worked out.
Today's t-party is going to a dear Korean lady in Louisianna who is seriously ill so we are going to lift her spirits, come and join us. I cannot paper fold...ahve tried it...lol...never looks like it was supposed to, so I went with the Korean Flower the lotus. I found a picture to color in on google in the tattoo area...LOVE it...Thanks for the visit and have a great day...HUGS

I got as far as your card before work this morning, looking through the gallery - and knew I needed to come back with more time to read all about how you made it. That flower is so beautiful - and I didn't know that it was a traditional Korean flower. Well - it is a long LONG time since I did a school project on Korea when I was about 11. The image you found has a great Asian feel to it, and is beautifully set off with your framing and sweet sentiment.

This gorgeous! Kudo's on the coloring and the MANY elements on this card that make it so interesting and beautiful. Love the embossing on the side, love the corner treatments, love the flourishes and sentiment at the bottom. GREAT card!!!
