This is a three challenges in one card. The F4A was to use gold, the Mix was to use a glaze, and for the QFTD, who happens to be frenziedstamper, I chose to case this card because I loved all the colors in it. Plus I added more bright colors because they always make me happy!....details....
I googled glazes and found one that used micro glaze in a resist technique. Since many years ago I bought this product but had yet to use it, today was the day I dug it out.
Not sure if I did the technique right, but I gave it a shot. Briefly, you eb some cs, then rub the glaze over the raised parts, put your color on buffing off the raised glazed parts thus the resist.
On some other cs, I drew and brightly painted the skinny houses, cut the out and set aside. I also rubbed some of the micro glaze over them too after painting them. Really makes them shine.
For the big sun, I traced a large round object, cut it out with deckle scissors then sponged it with several colors and micro glazed it. Added the strips of gelli print scraps for the sun rays, doodling on them.
Punched out a smaller circle and painted it gold just like the roof tops.
Put this altogether on a black card popping up the tops of the houses.
That wraps up another happy time creation. Cindy enjoy your reign as Queen. You have a lovely gallery. Thanks also to Dawn and Lydia for the wonderful challenges for today. Have a great weekend all!....TFL :0)
