Linda asked us to do color blocks for the WT today. She mentioned acrylic blocks as a possibility. I latched on to that one since, on the whole, I am not fond of color blocking. By using various acrylic blocks(you may be able to see the scoring showing from one of the blocks...that was intentional), inking them up and then misting with water, I achieved a softer more watercolor-y look.

, if I could get this look blocking with acrylic blocks I'd be happy. I remember trying a couple of times and deciding it wasn't for me. It obviously is not a bother to you, as you've ended up with such a lovely distressed watercolour look for your background.
