A new journey for me for today's Way's to Use It challenge - I don't think I've ever stamped a card and then coloured/painted outside the lines on purpose. But I've been inspired by the many talented artists here on SCS and in blogland and I'm experimenting with a "loose" style. Stamped the butterflies using masking and Stayzon before watercoloring, spraying with water and splattering with paint. Then used some inks along the edges. Finished by adding jute twine and a vintage button.

Wow, Bridget, this is just beautiful. I find it hard to go outside the lines , some time I'll get brave.
My favourite bit is the text, though - and the soft look of the jute.
