This card is for today's two challenges...CAS & TLC.
For the TLC we are to celebrate Joan Ervin's birthday by using one of the techniques that she has brought to us as one of the hostesses on the TLC challenge. As far as I can tell, this is the first one she presented..."POUNDED FLOWERS" on 6/28/10. It calls for fresh flowers and since there aren't too many yet, I used pinky red Gerber daisies that I had from Trader Joe's. Fun thing with this technique is that you never know what you are going to get when you "smash" the blossoms. That is what I used for the bg. It is still one of my favorite techniques.
The CAS was to CASE one of bon2stamp's(Bonnie) cards from her fantastic gallery. I chose this CARD on which she used a watercolored bg and silhouetted images.
Thanks, Joan, for MANY, MANY wonderful techniques through the years. May you have the happiest of birthdays!
