I saw today's color challenge and grinned. I am not sure I can make a card without brown! I recently purchased this stamp and was a bit disappointed that it was so tiny. So I stamped in Memento Black, scanned it, made it a bit bigger by about an inch and printed in draft. I have no clue what color baby robins are so I think these guys are robins. After coloring with pencils it sat there for several days. When I saw the challenge- yep, foliage will do. The background cream paper was randomly inked and stamped with a lightly ink script stamp.
I add stitches by hand since it is therapeutic and cheap.
Thanks for looking.

wow, I think I've found your passion, Nancy...the color rendering on this and yesterday's cards have been accomplished with such depth and shading. Love the subtle script and stitching...just a touch...in the perfect spot and the robin's...I just know the big fat momma's and pappa's that come visiting my beauty berry bush this time of year to feast. a beautiful card!

I love these cute little robbins. You did color them so pretty and who cares what they are in real life, I don't know either. The foliage and script are great additions and I also love the stitching in the corners. Wonderful card !!

What a clever idea you had to make the image a little larger. This is lovely. You did a fantastic job coloring the tree opening, it looks very realistic.
