For MIX3 I used the SU Script for my text and Peasant Poppies and card base for my red and it started out with white cardstock and Old Paper distress ink added to the edges.
For the IC376 I used this Poppy box for inspiration.
The finger walking technique was used on the poppy panel: ink up the background image while it lies rubber side up on the work surface, place the card stock face down on the rubber and walk your finger over the image. In this case I rubbed around the edge then walked through the center avoiding the blooms as much as possible. I do wish it showed a little better in the photo because in real life it really adds a lot to the panel.
For the Sizzix Swirly die I cut it out first and lined it up to the paper to draw a cutting line, once cut out I glued the swirl in place. Under the script panel is a layer of the black and white cardstock used in the flower panel and the swirls are glued down with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue.
AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze was used to attach the black gems.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the black borders both inside and out. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.

Roxie - this card is stunning -- I was drawn to it with that beautiful black filigree. I will have to look at that link to see what you did. Whoever you give this card to is very lucky. Wish it was me.
