This is for two challenges. The TPT we were to use a floral image with a thinking of you sentiment. The Color Challenge was to use Vanilla, Suede and Mambo. The desert option was to use florals or a frosty image. These two challenges were perfect together! I love brown and pink.
I bought this set when the current catalog first came out. I have never liked anything I have tried to do with it. Today I decided I was going to conquer this! I stamped the image in Momento Cocoa on water color paper. I cannot find my Suede ink. This is weird because my inks are all stored together by colors families. Its bound to be buried under something. If you saw my room you would understand. I then used a blender pen and Mambo to color the flower. I then cut into each petal and used a stylus to add dimension to it. I then put vanilla pearls where the stamens are. I stamped the flourish in Versa Mark and then used Cocoa ep by CTMH. Heat embossed it. Stamped my flower image on top and popped up my flower on a dimensional. Added my Thinking of You and smeared the ink on the T. I added another pearl to hide it and it worked. I then added the vanilla layer onto Mambo. Inside it has vanilla paper cut with a nestie and it says " Live in the sunshine. "
This will be going to a friend of Phyllis's who has lost her husband and going through a hard time. I cannot imagine how she feels. My card goes in the mail with a prayer that God can heal her hurting heart. Not that she will ever forget but that she may be whole again.
I really enjoyed these challenges today ladies. Thanks so much for hosting them.
After looking through the CC gallery I realized I used Mambo instead of Ripple! My bad. Oh well I am leaving it in the gallery because I sure had it in my head that was the color!!!!

I think that your card turned out beautifully. I had my hand on this set for the challenge too but couldn't come up with anything that I liked, thanks for the great idea...might have to pull it out again.

The color police are very lenient. If they were not I would be in prison. Your card is clean and simply wonderful and thoughtful. I am sorry for your friend's loss. God bless you both.
