MaryR gave us the following colors which, indeed, are very "Christmasy":
very vanilla
cherry cobbler
gumball green
She suggested we make a Christmas card. As you can see, I skipped the option in favor of a summertime card. I was in a local craft/home decorating store today and was completely turned off by the copious amounts of Christmas stuff they already had for sale. Guess it is about "making a buck"....can't start too early. : )

Edited to add: Mary R raised a good point: These stores are also sources of supplies to those who make things to sell at craft fairs and the like....they need to get going now. So true!

(Sigh) This is so very pretty Sallie! Your coloring of the cherries and blossoms is so gorgeous!!! I would have never thought of using the thinned striped DP, but you did, and it looks amazing!!! Love it all!!!

Sallie, I love your choice of image for this color challenge today. It's awesome. Reminds me of the orchards we have close to us in Door County. Love the striped dp too! tfs

oooh i love that die. your coloring is so soft. the cherry crop in Door County in Wisconsin is a real bust this year. we had too warm a winter, the buds popped early and then froze.
