My CAS158 Technique..Stitching or Faux Stitching card. This is one of my very favorite techniques. I do not sew, but I LOVE to faux sew :-)
I used watercolor paper for the "Bordering on Romance" image using the Marker Layering Technique....markers and blender pen. Karen B Barber has a fabulous video on the SCS Resources Link showing the technique.
The faux stitching layer was stamped by masking the larger stamp image in set 1 of the "Apothecary Art" SU stamp set. I went around the black line with my mat pack and piercing tool. Worked great! Used a #1 Art pen to connect the pierced holes.
Enjoy and hope you get to play this fun challenge.

Ah--me, too--faux stitching is the ONLY kind of stitching I do! This turned out beautifully. The depth of layers is good. The coloring is wonderful. I really like the sentiment stamp you used.
