Anne(Itsapassion) is hosting the Inspiration Challenge today. She gave us the site of MODERN LOLA which is filled with colorful things for mainly children. I chose these TWO LITTLE GIRLS in their Lilly Pulitzer outfits. They looked like shell gatherers to me!
I used the reverse masking technique for my jar and then brayered the inside with the colors. I stamped the shells on computer paper(so they would be thin), colored with Copics, cut them out and glued them "inside" the jar.

How did I miss this Sallie? What a beautiful layout, your color choices are perfect and your treatment of this images - glitter, gel pen and sponging are fantastic. Really wonderful card!

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love how you interpreted your inspiration piece. I love the twine, distressed edges, and most of all, the colors seashells and sparkle in the jar. Thanks for sharing!
