It's Tickle a Teapotter week when we get to send cards to fellow teapotters. This week we're going back to school to learn to count. So far the lessons have been more entertaining than educational. To find out what all the laughter this week is about go here . We are bringing cards with numbers on them and things to count. My numbers are the Roman Numerals on all the clocks and there's plenty of poppies - at least 42,000 - and clocks and gears to count. This is my second card in the gallery and the one that actually goes to another teapotter.
The poppy scene is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics. The outside of the frame for the picture is colored with a gold gel pen. The background is made using Tim Holtz Timeworks mask and sponging with Distress Inks. The letter background was stamped while the mask was in place. The other clock and gears are stamped with Distress Inks as well. The sentiment was stamped on an extra piece of the background I made with Versafine Black ink. The extra side panel on the left was also more of the background I made with sponging and Distress Inks.

I took a double take at this when I saw it in the gallery. It looks so much like an French Impressionist painting my parents have hanging in their living room. You've coloured it beautifully.
