This card is for 2 challenges today:
Free for All F4A66: 'Literally' - to post any card but the project must contain a freebie.
For my freebie - The entire card base with the brown & pink panels and the green cloud label, was given to me by my mother, therefore I don't know the deets on the DPs. I can tell you that the pink panel has soft velvety flock on the brocade flourishes. It's lovely. I stamped Congratulations on the green cloud and then sponged the edges. I stamped the ippity house on some printed patterned scraps that I was about to toss and then pieced it together. I also used a scrap piece of crumb cake for the tulip border. This was actually a trial practice experiment for me to brayer the raised tulips. Some of the centers of the tulips were bare, so I added stickles. It turned out nicely and matched the other elements on this freebie base, so I went with it. Perfect little garden for the new home. So my little house & garden were made from scraps that were never intended to be used on an actual card!?!
The 2nd challenge is for Queen For the day QFTD62: To honor Bailmac
I chose this sweet inspiration card from her gallery: WT258 Home Sweet Home by Bailmac at Splitcoaststampers
I went with her house theme. When my mom gave me the green cloud label, I wasn't sure what to stamp on it, but I new it needed something long, so I used Congratulations because that was one of the longest stamps I had. Then when I saw this card in Pams gallery, I got the idea to use a house image with the Congratulations label. Thanks for the inspiration Pam.
Thanks for looking!
