Our Teapot Tuesday Destination Station is in honor of Rox71, hostess of the sketch challenges for as long as I can remember. You can check out the full story at Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge in the forums and, hopefully, play along with us!
Of course, I was excited to learn that da Mudder chose Roxie as the recipient of all the teapotters' cards this week. Therefore, I wanted to play and chose a sketch from one of Roxie's prior sketch challenges. I went with this layout from SC152.
One of da Mudder's dances from Night at the Roxbury is called Spring Fling, and, as some of you know, "flinging" is what Bertie is all about. Bertie always has spring in her fling, and she can teach you the moves, if you're interested!
I made this Spring Fling card for our sweet Roxie.
I stamped the flourish border onto the white card stock and embossed it with the square lattice embossing folder. I stamped the Vintage Vogue flower onto Pink Pirouette dp, cut it out, sponged the edges, added a brad to the center and adhered with dimensionals.
Roxie, I don't know how you continually come up with all the awesome sketch challenges, but THANK YOU!!!

Oh my goodness, I was so tired and distracted yesterday that I never thought how suitable the Spring Fling would be for Bertie. Flinging petals, now that I could happily join in with. Your beautiful soft spring colours are so lovely - it's all about yellows and blues here now, I'm looking forward to the cherry coming out more.

This is such a pretty spring card with those soft pastel colors. I so look forward to spring each year - my favorite season - everything is so fresh and new. Your card gives me that springtime feeling. Wonderful card for Roxie.
