Hi! This card fits today's Inspiration Challenge HERE and it fits this week's Stampin' B's Challenge to use purple, turquoise and something shiny!
I have to admit that I'm tired...really tired. Last night we took a few hours to JUST VEG OUT! We watched a REALLY stupid movie...and it was just the escape the entire family needed from all the stress.
Oh, I was emailed several times the last time I used the crinkled ribbon on where I bought it...Well, it's SMOOTH satin ribbon! I cut a piece of scrap paper 1/2" wide and used double sided tape to adhere the 7/8" satin ribbon to the scrap. Next, I ran the ribbon through a crimper! (Cool, right?)
I stamped the image in Adirondack's Pitch Black and colored with Copics. The "frame" was made by stamping 4 strips of the checkerboards. Next, I cut them out and pieced them together on a scrap of the Snow Storm Smooth. I then cut that out and matted it on the Momma's Favorite Purple.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 35 minutes...

You NAILED the purple and turquoise challenge, Faith! This is so attractive. These colors look so fetching on your snowman. Lovely work!

What a great card! Love the crimped ribbon and the checkerboard. Super job on the purple and turquoise challenge for the B's.
