Thank you card for Jon in honor of Pastor Appreciation Day. Jon is the Pastor who serves God through worship at church where my sweet friend Rachel spends each Sunday. Here is where you can learn about his heart and listen to his music Jon Sings.
The scripture is computer generated using Psalm 96:11-12 and Psalm 63:4, printed on DP and stamped over with Pines. The background is from Stampscapes and is colored with Copics. Using this on YouTube, I sponged the sky using a torn paper towel and sponged over Bashful Blue. (The actual 'sky' is about 3 ½ minutes into the video, but the beginning is amazing as well.) MS Branch punches were done in different shades of green Bazzill. The gorgeous brown textured paper has been hoarded for over a year, and was a gift from Emily (StampMuse) The texture on this paper is divine (thanks M!) and I stitched black around the edges to add a bit more texture. The "Create Joy" sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Thanks for looking!
Edit: Here is where I search for Scripture, it is soo easy, just type in a word and all the passages using it come up! BibleGateway

Oh WOW!! This is B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L!! This just leaves me speechless! Everything about this card is wonderful. It immediately went into my favorites. I love the way you did the scenic background and the lovely sentiment and all those MS punched branches and the gorgeous stitching around the edges. I can see why you've been saving this paper for something special like this card. Thanks for all the great links - I'll definitely be looking at them later today when I have more time.

Okay Pat, you queen of the easel cards... you've outdone yourself this time! This is a masterpiece of museum quality! From the divine Ms.M paper that looks like a cushy leather sofa with its copper brads and detailed stitching to the stampscape in the background, this is gorgeous beyond words. What I love the most, though, is your Scripture oval. It has the appearance of being nestled amongst the boughs of a cedar tree that's growing along the edge of a peaceful mountain lake. This will be a treasured keepsake for Pastor Jon.
