The first thing I thought of when da Mudder asked for volunteers this week was "Put me in, Coach... I'm ready to play this game!" The baseball themed challenge reminded me of John Fogarty's sung here with Keith Urban.
This is Snoopy Dog John, #34 of the Elm Grove Eagles, telling Coach Sandy that he's ready to step up to the plate and bring some cheer to his team-mate Andrew, who is having a really tough time this summer. Andrew's whole team is represented by the Bad News Bassethounds at the tea party this week! You can read all about it here, and send a card to Andrew.
I altered a Snoopy golf image, replacing his club with a wooden bat sticker. Drew his baseball shirt and the eagle for his cap and cut out home plate. Popped it up on a watercolored background, sponged the edges and added a baseball glove sticker.

You follow directions so well, Ms Broom! What a wonderfully special and fun card this is. It's just way too adorable. Glad to see one of the players' name on it too. That guy sure looks like a slugger to me. Precious.

Well of course, Snoopy Dog John is waiting like the uber-cool pooch that he's always been ... ready to win it for the team! I'd definitely want him on my team! He's just tooooo cooooool!
Wow, Snoopy with an eagle on his cap and a very cool watercolor background, how cute is this! Thank you for making a card for Andrew! With love from Andrew's Aunt Mary Beth
