I found out while trying to make this card that there is absolutely no way mutnik and I can be related. Trying to make this scene filled my recycle bin. This one smeared too right by the ball so that is why I added a little bit of grass (a mutnik solution!!). I simply could not start over. Sis, sent me a copy of her background and I tried to put my card together to resemble it!!!
My Bad News BassethoundsÂ’ player is Billy #11. After the picnic (see mutnikÂ’s card), all team members posed for individual team pictures. I would love to come up with a fun story for our Teaparty but it is so hard when a young man is facing chemo tomorrow. I just want Andrew to see that a lot of us silly teapartiers are sending him thoughts and prayers to get through this difficult time. I know homemade cards make me feel better and I hope they will for Andrew too. I will mail this tomorrow.
I love Tuesdays and the awesome group of people who make it such a fun time.
Thank you for looking!!!

Long before now, you should have realized the world is not fair. You know darn wel you've been shortchanged. I'm certain you must excel in some area where your russian spy sister doesnt. I cant think of any, but I know there must be something out there that you do better. get a mitt and get in the game, will you? YOur card is perfectly adorable. I love the less cluttered field; it provides great opportunity to concentrate on the ball! See, you did manage to create a grand slammer after all.

This good lookin' dog with his pinstriped and polka dotted uniform are terrific. I can so see the family resemblance - with your sister and her drawing! Not the dog!!!

Love this scene Connie, your dog sure looks like he will swing a homerun in no time! I love the tree and fence and the encouraging sentiment.
About your relations with the Artist Cathy...she is indeed your sister, but didn't you tell me once. "I have all the looks, while she has all the talent." You have to watch what you say while sipping drinks with friends, we still listen you know. Bwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh! Ain't I a stinker...ask Cindy, she will tell you I am. Hugs sissys!
This is a delightful card that will brighten Andrew's day. Your scene is so cool!!! You did a marvelous job here - truly wonderful!!!! I really love the whole scene and those couple of tufts of grass by the fence - one of those perfect little touches that add so much! Bravo!!!!
