Wendy's challenge today was a great one. After liking this Rubber Romance stamp for a couple of years (always love to see Pat Smethers' cards with it), I finally ordered it and it arrived this week.
Stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with H2Os. I masked the image and used Little Flowers and the faux grid technique to put her in a kitchen setting.
Matted on Basic Grey and then layered onto more of the same scored in a grid pattern, then wiped with Peeled Paint to accentuate the grid. The base card is A2 white with the edges sponged with Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick. I stamped a sentiment from HA onto the image panel, and added a star button and trail of gems to add to the celebratory feel.

Really great job on this, Sabrina! It's adorable. I love the grid paper and blingy shooting star. Oh, and yup, you got it right--I'm Joanna's mom. And Joel's (Legoboy), too! You were so sweet to comment on both of their cards. They are loving it!

Awsome job! I love your faux grids, on the image and in the bg. The red star and rhinstone arrow are fun embellishments. BTW, congrats for being QFTD this week! Looking forward to browsing your gallery.
