Betty gave us these colors for today's challenge: Dusty Durango, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, with neutrals of choice. I used substitute colors.
These colors reminded me of sunsets on the Lake Erie where I grew up. Truth be told, I don't think we had "turquoise waters" at sunset or any other time! : ) This is an image of the lighthouse that is still in my hometown.... it is a special stamp for me. One wall of the lighthouse does have a wash of white acrylic paint.

Sallie, I knew before I saw your "hobbydujour", that this was one of your masterpieces. You brayered beautifully! I took a brayering class with Michelle Zindorf and loved it. I wish she'd come back so I could take the advanced class.
On a side note, I am from Elyria, Ohio......near the Lake Erie shore. Where is home for you?

Perfection at it's finest, Sallie. Oh, what a colorer you are. Where on Lake Erie did you grow up? I'm very familiar w/Lake Erie, so I'd really be interested to hear about your hometown.
