Julia's WT challenge today was to use ribbon...hopefully in a new way.
Well, I did try, without any success, to fashion some roses from the hand-dyed crinkle ribbon I make. That was an UTTER failure.....even an abstract artist would not have recognized them as roses ...or any other flower. So I went conventional...I made a BIG ribbon bow, got out some old tiny satin, store-bought, ivory roses and tinted them with Glimmer Mists. Not very original or very creative, but there it is!

Don't be so hard on yourself, Sallie!! I think this is knock-your-socks-off gorgeous!! That super wide striped ribbon is some of my favorite; you just can't go wrong with that. And those little ribbon roses (so what if they are store-bought??) are adorable. I love how you put everything together here and really made it work. Nicely done
