For today's Free 4 All challenge, F4A3--I Want the Fairy Tale!--to make a card in a fairy tale theme with a little glitter or bling. Also for FlourishesÂ’ Grand Opening Celebration Day 4 Challenge, which is all about the *sparkle!*
I'm continuing my watercolor practice--the castle is watercolored with ink. The background panel was sponged to look like dreamy sunset-tinged fluffy clouds. Of course, my *sparkle* comes from the rhinestones I used to frame the castle and highlight the sentiment.
This card also qualifies for yesterday's WT261 challenge, What's New?, a challenge to show how we're using any new goodies. I used my new watercolor paper (finally got some!), new watercolor brushes, new pink rhinestones, a new-to-ink sentiment stamp (had it for a while but used it for the first time today), and my relatively new Martha Stewart punch around the page set.
I'm not sure yet how I'll use this card, but I love how it turned out and look forward to a chance to send it to someone!
Thanks for looking!
Emily

This card LOOKS like a Fairy Tale! Love the peach and pink pastel color theme and the petite rhinestones on the sentiment. I might have to get myself that around the corner punch too... you are the Punch Diva! ;)
