Betty is challenging us to merge the SCS color challenge with the Tuesday Teapot Challenge. If you've never visited Mothermark's blog, you are in for a crazy ride! She's a master story teller and this week, we are to outdo Matilda D. Munn (otherwise known in Teapotters' circles as Aquilta the Hun) by impressing Chenille, the quilting judge. Matilda is jealous of the Teapotter gals and thinks they can't 'quilt' like she can. We are uniting to show her differently! Using Betty's colors of Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery & Bashful Blue, I punched 12 squares using Creative Memories square maker. I made my own DP by stamping a small rose image multiple times and coloring with Copics. Once the squares were adhered to a scrap of paper, I ran it through the CB using the top note die. I then stitched with my Janome machine and added buttons & ribbon. The black BG is embossed with the textile EF, but doesn't show up well in the pic. This card will also be sent to Lindsey (cards for a cause) who is being treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma while being pregnant. Prayers go out to her and her family!
