Oh, it's still my favorite night of the week! Friday and the IC. My hands are finally inky after more than 3 months of pausing...how I have missed my SCS friends, encouragers, and all the creative energy that flows through each one of you. Here's hoping that my interpretation of the IC will interest you and perhaps, cause you to pause...
Thanks Anne, for the delightful web site FabulousStationary I just knew when I saw the chair, I could ease into creating again. My mod chair is courtesy of Judikins. I stamped it and Mod Guy multiple time to paper piece, using various Basic Grey colors. The wonderful mantel behind Mod Guy is an image from Stamp Francisco...inked with Palette Hybrid Charcoal Grey on SU Basic Grey paper. The Christmas tree is B Line Designs...inked twice with Nick Bantock's Sap Moss Green and Chartreuse Leaf on unknown green paper. I dug out my hoarded Basic Grey Figgy pudding to cut the packages for under the tree. And the most wonderful, thought provoking quip comes from Stampers Anonymous. I divided it up from front page news, to the meat down the side. The black moulding is a snip of vintage German scrap.
So I would love to hear how you've been pausing during this very hectic season, how you've nurtured your SWEET 'selfs! Thanks so much for all your wonderful cards and prayers, they were treasures I received on days and weeks when I needed them.
See you in the gallery.
Editing to add, guess I've forgotten the code for the color links...help Anne H...please refresh my memory in a PM. Thanks so much
editing to add AGAin....if you look in the hot and new on the site, you'll see the one for my inspiration.

So lovely to see you back in the gallery again, Susan, with a well-timed message for this busy time of year. Brings me back to *Be still and know that I am God* - in the busyness sometimes it's hard to remember.

An amazing card with an especially appropriate sentiment for this time of year! I love all the little details you put into it, especially how you downplayed the stockings in the background to give the 'room' some depth!

Awesome card Susan! Love the idea of the "pause". Something we all surely need to do now and again. Love the scene you have created. So glad to see you posting again. TFS :0)
