Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Not Quite Navy, Pretty Ink Pink and Really Rust. Now, I have to admit, these are some of my favorite colors...I've just never MIXED used all three on the same card before.
Sunday afternoon I was in the emergency room, again...This time my foot/ankle/calf had swollen to a point where they were the size of my thigh! And...the diagnosis? Gout! OMGosh! I wanted to slap the nurse for snickering...She asked ever so snarky, "Did you eat ham? Shellfish?" No...well, does pork loin count? LOL
I found this AWESOME piece of designer paper in Really Rust and decided to work the card around it!
The butterfly is a Shapeabilities die. I cut and embossed it. Next, I rubbed Versa Color Neptune(a match for Not Quite Navy!) over the embossing. Then, I embossed it in Clear. Next, I used a T-Shirt painting brush to color in the butterfly with Versa Color Paprika(a match for Really Rust. I embossed that with clear.
The sentiment and ferns were stamped in Neptune and embossed in clear. I added in the flowers and leaves in Paprika and Cinnamon.

Amazing card using these colors! The pink flowers look so soft and gorgeous with the rust and blue. Sorry you are having so much trouble with your foot! Hope you are better real soon!

Faith, I love how you've used the colors in the color challenge! Definitely an inspiration for me. The butterfly is so gorgeous!!!
So sorry to hear about your health problems. I have several family members and a friend who suffer from this painful disease. The foods that trigger it are different with each person. Hope you can find a solution to prevent a reoccurence!

Faith, I love how you stamped blossoms around the O in LOVE to accent it. Lovely charms, too!

Faith, this is a real beauty. Just striking. I am so, so sorry that your foot situation just isn't improving. Gout? That is no fun. Keep stamping to lift your spirits. Take care.
