I have to say thanks Stef for these IC's you've been bringing us lately, they are so unique and thought provoking. Today's Mackintosh Enamels are no exception! My eyes went immediatley to this one: http://www.mackintoshenamels.com/cat...cool/t01.shtml
I love ginkgo trees. They are the oldest known living species tree in the world. I'm fortunate to have one just down the street I can visit daily...in early spring the leaves are chartreuse and in the fall, the most gorgeous yellow.
My background is a paper from MME Bohemia that I stamped the ginkgo leaf (Kodomo) multiple times in a mixture of TH di peeled paint, shabby shutters, and pine needles. I embossed them with clear ep. The awesome quote by John Ruskin is from Impression Obsession. I inked it in pine needles and stamped on the reverse paper from MME. I used my bugg with the Spellbinder rectangle scalloped dies to cut and emboss. The green scallop is from MME 29th St Market. The base of the card is a creamy yellow cs that was punched with the Fiskars eyelet lace punch. I folded the cs around the main panel. There are three additional leaves cut and popped at various points on the card for dimension.
Let me know what you think! Have a wonderful weekend too!!!

Wow, what a stunning combination of colors and textures! I love the appearance of more depth/dimension to some of the ginkgo leaves on the background, I guess they have more ink? They look like they are falling to the ground and they are at different heights. I am not articulating very well this morning - your card is wonderful!

Fantastic! (I said that because these ginko leaves kinda look like fans! LOL!) I love this card, even though it's not your usual style, it's beautiful!
