Patch gets a Special Delivery Vera Bradley bag and Chihuahua girl friend included.
This is for Jen's Vera Bradley inspiration challenge.
Okay, so this one would never make it into the limited supply challenge, and I clearly have way toooo much time on my hands. This is truly making the most of the time convalescing with a bung toe. And I am passionate about collage too.
I have grown to appreciate how much work Vera Bradley puts into her designing! This is NOT a DP, I built this paper background myself. With over 20 stamps.
When I discovered the A muse site and selected all these stamps, I dreamed of one day making cute little scenes with them, I've finally gotten around to it. My daughter has put in an order for one she can play with, made so that she can move all the pieces around, like a dolls house.
There are so many stamps in this collage, I will list the brands and then if you are interested in a particular one, I would love to hear from you and I can help with your specific query. Most of the stamps in the picture itself are a muse.
I did a lot of paper piecing. I donÂ’t know how I have survived with out a stampamajig (SU) until now! This is the first time I have really used it properly and it will now be a permanent fixture on my desk!
The lounge is paper piecing with White cardstock through cuttlebug folder, stamped and cut out. I used real red for the lounge and copics on the window. I actually inked up the cuttlebug folder itself with the real red ink. There was a tutorial on this technique a little while ago, but I can't find it, anyone?
I did a far amount of detailing with a fine black 0.1 copic marker. It's my absolute favourite marker as it does not run when used with copic markers (or SU).
I've decided I'm going to frame this one!

OMG and WOW!!! I can't believe you made the background. That definitely took some major time out of your day. I sure hope you have it scanned or something so you can just make more copies to use again! You could probably market it to a paper company!!!

You sure did make good use of your time while your toe is mending. I hope your toe is better and I hope we see more of your creativity! Thanks for sharing this.
