I enjoyed browsing the wonderful gallery of lovetostamp6 and chose her lovely 'Autumn Harvest' card to case as I liked the layout and layering. I changed the theme from autumn to oriental with oriental style papers and the card shape from oblong to square. I didn't use a stamp for the featured centre oblong but instead I folded a kimono from oriental style paper and used a blue glitter gel pen to draw 'happy birthday' in chinese characters in the four corners (I hope this is correct and that I don't offend anyone if they are not).

OMG......did this ever catch my eye....not only cuz it is an awesome Asian card, but also because the kimono/yukata on your card is almost identical to one my fellow travelers and I wore when we visited a health spa at Noboribetsu in Japan.....thanks for the memories....awesome, simply awesome

I see we're kindred spirits, girl: This is so wonderfully asian and I'm so about asian, so when I say this is totally awesome, trust me, this much I know! This is exquisite in blue and white. I could never have thought of that. This is one spectacular card, girl. Magnificent presentation!

Chris, your card is stunning and how could anyone be offended by something so beautiful. Do you by any chance have a template for this kimono. It's so fabulous. I love the blue color, the bg, the kimono of course, the crossband panel and the Asian lettering.
