I was asked by the church secretary to make a card for our Pastor's 60th Birthday. I hope he likes it considering it's supposed to be from the entire congregation!
I don't normally do square cards, although they are fun. I've used a dark dusty blue card base, matted with lighter blue and topped with cream (that I've put through the cuttlebug with 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder). The largest panel is both blue card colours and topped with paper by Delish and 2 brads from the Pewter Hodgepodge set. The horizontal panel is the same as the background. The top panel is the dark and light blue card. I've stamped the 60 in light blue and stamped the sentiment from Small Sayings in brown over the top. The stars have been done with versacolor. The boats from Toy Box have been stamped in Brown and embossed and coloured with Tombow pens and pop dotted. Finished with Organza ribbon and a double sided blue/brown ribbon through a pewter hodgepodge ribbon buckle.
TFL!!

This is so wonderful for a Pastor. Like Helen above, this would be a fabulous design for our Priest, too! Already went into my faves, girl! This is way too special not to case!!!
