Beautiful colors, Emily! Thanks so much for bringing those hues to us each week. I love the addition of green today, it makes the pink and chocolate combination look fresh and just perfect for the Basic Grey sultry paisley paper.
My Rendre Belle (B Line Designs) beauty's dressing gown is paper pieced in SU's pretty in pink, inked with VersaColor black. I stamped the whole image onto GP white cs and used Copic markers to color her skin and shoes. I used twinkling H2O's for her silk stockings. A MM flower brad holds the mirror on the dressing table at just the right angle for her to check out her GRIN! The sentiment panel is BG's Sultry 'peony' paper which I stamped the JOY phrase from Cloud 9's acrylic stamp set in the black ink. I used the "stylish" paisley paper which is scalloped and cb'ed in the paisley folder. The base of the card is certainly celery with the weave backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms using Adirondack meadow ink.
Joy IS the feeling of GRINNING on the inside...I adore this quote for it captures the very essence of childlike wonder, no matter how many candles on your birthday cake! So I'm wishing you lots of JOY today and EVERY day! Thanks so much for your comments
