Here is a thank you card for my friend Nancy, done for today's Inspiration Challenge, IC117. The IC piece can be seen here- Forums at Splitcoaststampers It also works for Thursday's Ways to Use it Challenge, to make a card with a musical theme. I think the Ancient Heart looks like an ancient musical score.
I pulled the blue color and the hearts on the wall from the piece. The background is done with the Heated Pearls technique. Then I stamped the Ancient Heart onto paper vellum in Staz-On Ultramarine, and stamped it again onto an acetate Window Sheet. I cut out the vellum heart, alligned it to the back of the Window sheet image, and glued it on with a drop CE. I then attached it to the Bliss Blue panel underneath with brads, to which I glued hearts cut out of Polyshrink stamped in Brilliant Blue, and dabbed them with Stickles.
The sentiment you can see through the window reads, *You make my heart sing!* and the font has tiny hearts on some of the letters. It's so cute!
Finally I embossed the piece of HPH in white EP, and threaded 3 different blue and white fibers through it.
I'm tickled with how this came out- hope you like it too!
Thanks for looking!
Maddy
