Thanks Stephanie for a very cool inspiration challenge. I decided on a more literal interpretation. My card base is GP white which I CB'ed with the distressed stripes. My room walls are Su's soft sky. My villa (refrigerator) is from A Stamp in the Hand Architectural Elements. I stamped this in Adirondack lettuce and embossed in clear. The backboard is from Michelle Ward's Physical Graffiti inked in Brilliance Moonlight White/ep'ed in seafoam Ranger ep. The adirondak chair is from RiverCity Rubber um, stamped in Tim Holtz distress tattered rose on 3 Bugs in a Rug, Groovy HotPants (can you dig it?!). I created the carpet from a Rubber Moon rug stamp using the famous Costco pack of last year. I stamped this in Adirondack latte and embossed in clear. My baskets are also from RiverCity Rubber um stamped on cream cs with TH straw ink. I used vintage velvet flowers, yellow scrap from the Fiskars lace punch for the lemons, and the flower out of SU ART of Life for the white element in the basket. My wooden floor was created from a plank paper unmarked, but bought at jo's. The birdie at the tip top of my Villa is Scenic Route Laurel Strip. And the piece de la resistance is the Emerson quote(Rubber Soul), "THE ORNAMENT OF A HOUSE IS THE FRIENDS WHO FREQUENT IT" So true, whether a Italian Villa or the Villa de Trailer, our homes should always be places our friends find rest, don't you agree?

oh Susan you did an awesome job on this challenge. A wonderful collage, and yes, I agree with you about our friends finding rest in our homes. A paper parable, that is what this is!

Oh my goodness!! This is fascinating! I love every bit of it and the more I look, the more I notice. Unbelievable details. I love your narrative, especially you humor in the last couple of sentences. So true! Oh one more thing...I love your wicker basket full of lemons

What a fabulous take on this IC challenge, Susan! You have so many cool elements here to look at- so much fun! The rug, the flowers, the bird, the wooden plank flloor- but I think the chair is my favorite! And the card's friendship theme is so touching- I couldn't agree more! What a terrific card! TFS!
