I took my inspiration from the basket, wine and flowers for this IC challenge. I bought that very same basket the last time I was in Paris. My friend Connie and I were on a garden tour with Herb N Ewe from Thornville, Ohio. The light in the evening IS pink and soft. She and I lived as neighbors and had our daughters together in the paddies at Yokota AFB outside of Tokyo in the late 1960s. My Husband made a career in the Air Force and hers went to civilian life. But they always came to visit us at our new duty stations. She was my kindred spirit. We had planned to bring our daughters to Paris the next time we went. I lost her to cancer a few years ago so that will never happen. This card is for Connie and Paris.

There's no question - Connie would be so surprised with your card. She was looking over your shoulder today as you were putting all the pieces together. What a beautiful story to your card - and so much from your heart. tfs.
