For LSC156 challenge to put our own writing on the card. Gulp! No matter how many times I tried, I just couldn't get my writing to look good enough. I ended up printing. That's not a whole heap better, but it's there!
This card is for my daughter who just went to pick out the engagement ring yesterday with her soon to be formalized fiance.
I'm not sure if this card is too busy or not. I am also not sure if there is some unwritten law about using black on an engagement card. I would love your honest opinion! I do ask, if you have constructive criticism to please pm me. That way I won't be embarassed forever in my gallery!
The only embellishment on the card is the "rock" on the foot. I know it's the wrong foot, but it's up in the air like she's showing it off!
I used CTMH paper that I had received a while ago. Although I like the paper, the cs is MUCH thinner than SU! I was really surprised. To make up for that fact, I'll put a white liner inside.
The edging stamps are by Technique Tuesday. I filled in the blank spots between the black and also put dots on the scallop stamp because I thought it was still a little dark.
Thanks for looking and your opinion!
Have a great day!

Love what you did with this...and I never would have realized the rock was on the wrong foot...you are funny (and clever too!).

This is very sweet! I love the big rock on the flamingo. Such a cute idea. Your handwriting is perfectly fine. Companies are making stamps that look like they were written.
