I used an actual piece of birchbark. I stamped the image directly upon it and used Prismas for some shading. The birchbark has so many beautiful shades within it already, so I didn't do a whole lot. The card opens like a flap up.

This card is definitely going into my favorites!! It is soo awesome that you stamped on birch bark. I love everything about it and the naturalness of it. I just bought a book on making things with birch bark - they should have had your card in the book also. Awesome!!

Oh my gosh, this is totally gorgeous!!! I have some birch bark somewhere down in my stamp room -- but where????? Remember when Becki N was stamping on birch bark -- it's from that long ago!!! This is fabulous!!! I so, so love it -- very inspirational!!!
