Today's Limited Supply Challenge (LSC154) was to make a non-traditional Valentine, using no shades of red or pink, no hearts, no flowers, and no more than 4 layers. I've met all those criteria with a card for a dear friend.
The main image is stamped in Basic Brown and colored with Twinkling H2O's and SU markers on WC paper. It is paper pierced, torn, and mounted to another torn and distressed panel of Bliss Blue. I created the background paper by using my Basic Brown ink pad Direct to Paper, overstamped with the Sanded BG stamp in Ballet Blue. The *love* tag is from the big BG stamp By Definition, with a piece of HP Hardware over it. Finally, I used a piece of broad non-SU stitched ribbon, and distressed the edges of the panel before mounting to card.
I hope you like it! Thanks for looking, and Happy Valentine's Day!

My heart swelled when I saw this, just like it does every time I see one of your fabulous cards. It's so good to have you stamping again. I knew we should believe in miracles. God Bless You. I'm not fond of cats but I sure like this cars. TFS

I am always in awe of your cards. I am adding this to my favorites to remind me of this clever way to layer the image - I like the look you achieve with the uneven edges - but then, I just like the whole card. And I so happy to see another one of yours posted here. Such an inspiration!
