I received these images on the image PIF thread. And ever since I got them, I've been wanting to make a "Welcome to Holland" card. For those of you not familiar with it, it is about the challenges of raising a child with disabilities.

I loved the colors for the CC today. I wanted to make the tulips look like the two colored ones where the red is veining through the apricot. Not sure I was very successful with that.

I never heard that story before but I guess I have been living there for the last 17 years! My daughter has Aspbergers Syndrome and it is hard but I wouldn't trade it for a million trips to Italy!

What a beautiful card! "Welcome To Holland" is a poem very near and dear to my heart - I've been living there for 16 years with my son. He has Autism and is the light of my life - perfect just the way he is!
