Just couldn't bring myself to pay $40-$60 plus shipping on a HOLDER for my ink pads. So I designed my own from foam core. It's sturdy enough for my purposes, looks nice, and cost less than $6.00.
Additional details, more pictures, and a PDF instruction/pattern file are on my blog under 'DIY'. http://RebelInker.blogspot.com
Hope this can be useful to someone else!

Thank you so much for posting this!!!!! I have been looking everywhere for something to hold my slowly growing collection of ink pads!!! I didn't want to spend the $$$ on a holder either (I would rather spend it on more ink pads!!!) My DH is going to build me one from wood using your pattern Thank you!!!!!

This is awesome and I can't wait to make one. My best friends birthday is this weekend coming and I have a stamp basket ready for her but I am going to give this a try and maybe give her one for her birthday. Thanks so much for the detailed instructions.

What an incredibly great idea! It would get the stamps out in the open wow! Good Job and to look at it, I would have never have thought it was foam core. This is fabulous!

Stacey, I love this! I made this for myself from your pattern and it turned out great. I love it! I can see I may need to make another one for all those In-Colors cuz they won't all fit once I get all the pads.

Stacey,
Thank you so much for posting this GREAT project. Made mine last weekend and I'm loving it! I could never justify the expense for a storage tower and now I have all my inks at my fingertips. I'm thrilled. Thank you again!

Thank you for sharing your great idea for holding stamp pads. I had been using a basket turned on it's side, but this is much better. You are generous to share. You could make them to sell!
