I was at a shoebox swap this weekend. A shoebox swap is where everyone brings a sample card and all the supplies needed (precut cardstock, ink, stamps, embellishments and tools) for the other gals to make it. You come home with a bunch of different cards and have fun visiting with the other gals.
Somehow.....I forgot to bring my stamp set!!!
Fortunately the hostess has a well stocked stampin' space, and she graciously allowed me to look for a substitute stamp set. Thank you Theresa! Since my cardstock was already cut, I had to find something that would "fit" in the spaces and work with the color scheme I had too. Talk about a challenge!!!
The card on the left is the card I planned to make, and the card on the right is the card I came up with using the borrowed stamps.

I love them both. So happy someone had a backup stamp set that would work for you. That is something I would have done, forget something, no matter how many times I look through everything I always wind up forgetting something.

wow...they are both so pretty! You can count it as a blessing in disguise because now if you want to give a card set w/tote to somebody, you have a masculine and feminine card! =)
