Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Non Traditional Embellishments...
Oh, no!!! We couldn't use HARDWARE or PUNCHES, or dimensionals!!!! I thought I would scream.heehee!
Nope, I didn't scream. I laughed! I knew that I had to make a card for my nephew's son's Christening on Sunday, so I got to work.
Since we weren't allowed to use dimensionals, or printed paper, CB, etc...I figured I better plug in the Hot Glue Gun and use it to attach the cross!
I used JEWELRY from my "discard" box in my Jewelry drawer for my embellishments...That's why the card is BLUE! LOL!(I had that little blue stud earring laying in that box for over 12 years! LOL! And...since my great nephew is a boy, well you get the idea!)
The silver "thread" is a necklace that has a knot in it, so I had no problem taping it right on!LOL!
The Cross broke off an old bracelet about 6 years ago...My nephew, who was being Christened, tore it right off!LOL! (Kinda like an heirloom!)
The leaves are cut from Brocade Basics and attached with hot glue.

A beautiful card and hardly a layer there - is this a record for you!! LOL! LOVE the way you made the string of leaves - and used all the 'broken' jewelry to make this lovely keepsake for your nephew!

Another beautiful card, goodness! Your jewelry theme is great! I thought the necklace was cording; great idea though. Lots of cutting around those leaves too, you must be very patient!
It pays off, your card is beautiful!! TFS!
