This is my first challenge upload. What fun. I've been working on the colour challenge from the other day but I'm not happy with the end result yet. One of my New Year "intentions" because a resolution is just too much pressure is to participate in daily challenges when I can to get the creative juices flowing. Due to time constraints this fall and over the holidays I find myself CASE'ing the many beautiful cards here on SCS and have begun to doubt my own creativity. I couldn't get to the dollar store today either but I did raid my stash of dollar store treasures and I found this wire Birthday greeting. My the price tag I paid $1.50 for it. Dollar store up her are funny that way ... Not everything is just a dollar! Anyway I didn't have anything strong enough to actually hold the wire greeting on the paper so I used glitter sticks in my hot glue gun... So after much babbling here is what I came up with. TFL!

This is a very nice card. That wire Birthday is a neat fine. Welcome to the challenges.

It's so cute! Great job! I know what you mean about case-ing. It's easy to fall into that habit, but that's why I am here in the challenges, so that I can broaden my techniques and use stuff I have! So glad you jumped in too!;)
