I adapted a design I've been playing around with to a couple of this week's color and technique challenges.
I used a sponge dauber to intensify the rose red.
Lastly, I'm experimenting with the 2 in 1 function on my camera and thought it might work to share a project like this.
Dec. 29th notes: This is a regular 4.25 x 5.5 inch card so it will fit a regular envelope. The blossom is stamped off center so that the edge of the bottom, trimmed petal (right in my closed pix) is about a half inch from the card edge. The pocket is just a 5.5 by about 3 inch piece with half circle punched out. I suggest attaching with sticky strip. The piece that holds the gift card is about 4.5 x 4 but you could alter that to fit your gift card. 4.5 inches is probably the maximum width that would fit in this pocket.
If you haven't tried this particular color challenge I highly recommend it. My photo doesn't do justice to the look of Rose Red stamped on Blush. It has a vintage Forties feel to it, especially on the inside pattern.

This is so pretty! I love the intensity of the rose red you achieved using the dauber. You're right about the chocolate chip giving it just that right amount of punch. Cool side-by-side photo idea, too!
