This is for the Inspiration Challenge 48. I know....I know....you are saying....huh????? This is not elephants, this has no big blocks of color...so hear me out. I have no elephant stamp but as I was giving this inspiration thought I kept looking at the piece and seeing the two heads together, black and white, and lots of gorgeous color. The two elephants were so different yet so alike. I thought of these two darling little girls...so different and yet so much alike.
I stamped the girls and skethced the tree with my artist pen. I painted the images then masked them to protect them from the sponging. I sponged out the glorius green (not my favoite green but the one that is called for on the color wheel to go with Coral and Ballet Blue) and then used my favorite little fern stamp to fill in the ground and leaves on the trees. I pulled in garden green to add texture and depth. I sketched out the little stone pathway to add just another layer of depth to the scene. I used the three major colors of the girls clothes in the flowers in the background.

Oh my another truly beautiful scene. Those two girls are just adorable together. Love it and your fun explanation.

This is fabulous and I could totally see how you got there (even w/o the explanation). Your scenes are always fabulous - but I love the multi-colored flowers in the background! What a sweet card. Thanks for playing!
