This card really emerged as I went along. I started with a brown floral panel, then did the mustard one and then the red one. Next to the red one, which I love how it turned out, the brown floral just looked washed out, so I left it off and made some washers from the buttons stamp in antique collectibles. I'm really pleased with the result.
The mustard panel is made by edging the square block in little shapes and stamping a row using the stamp-a-ma-jig on a piece of so saffron. Then I sponged mustard and caramel ink on it and used chocolate chip dtp.
The red panel is watercolor paper. First I embossed the image with clear ep, then spritzed heavily with water and dropped ink from refills onto the wet paper. I used a brush to spread it just a bit and then let it dry. I wiped the ink off the embossed area with a paper towel. Edges are dtp in chocolate chip. Then I decided that the mustard panel needed to reflect the image as well, so I embossed using black craft ink and clear ep. I also used the color spritzer tool with chocolate chip on both panels. The washers are also embossed.
This is one of those cards that when you're all done, you sit back and say I really like it.
