Sing it with me now, "Life is better where it is wetter under the sea..." I used today's sketch to make this card for the Alphabet Challenge letter U. My location this week is Under the Sea.
I started by sponging various distress blue inks on a piece of Bristol Smooth paper. After getting it to the color level I wanted, I then went back and sponged rays though you can't really see them with everything on the card.
I stamped the schools of fish throughout the background and followed that with stamping bubbles and heat embossing them with White Satin Pearl embossing powder. They are kind of a hidden surprise throughout the background. I think you can kind of see it on the upper right of the card. Once that was done, I dry embossed it with the wave ef.
I stamped my jellyfish and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I colored it with liquid watercolor matting this panel with gold mirror paper.
I cut the seaweed panel out of Soft Seafoam, stamped it with seaweed, and sponged around the edges. I die cut the gold "buckle" and framed the front sentiment with the buckle. Inside it says Oceans of happiness, Happy Birthday.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Catherine this is very nicely done! Love the metal looking buckle. And the gold lined jelly fish!
