When I saw that this week's Tea Party recipient is proud of his Irish heritage, I immediately thought of the printed Irish blessing that I cut out from something long ago. So I trimmed off the part that mentions God (since Mike isn't religious) and framed it with some gold scrap paper.
The next thing I thought of was a pack of stickers I recently got from Etsy (CherryMoonFactory's "Forest Elf" collection), which had a bit of an Irish vibe to it. From them, I selected the lantern with white flowers.
For the background, I chose an ancient sheet of scrapbook paper from Creative Imaginations. After sticking everything to that, I thought that the left side needed a bit of gold to balance the gold on the right, so I added the strip of scrap.
Finally, I added the little gold shamrock, which is a piece of old, broken jewelry. And that's it! I hope Mike likes his card.

What a wonderful ability to pick bits and pieces of ephemera and make them into a cohesive card! I have never had a knack for that and certainly envy people like you who can make it look and sound so easy . . . . That tiny piece of dimensional jewelry is the icing on the cake!
